BERLIN– The town announced deadlines for the 2014 Municipal Election, and a senior councilmember announced she would not seek reelection.
Berlin will hold elections for districts 1, 4 and At-Large council seats on Tuesday, Oct. 7. Previously, the town held elections on the second Tuesday in October.
District 4 Councilmember Dean Burrell and District 1 Councilmember Troy Purnell both confirmed to the Bayside Gazette in May they would seek reelection, although only Burrell had officially filed at press time.
At-Large Councilmember Paula Lynch confirmed she would not run again.
