Stephen Edwin Humphreys

Steve was born on June 16,1941 to Pauline Harrington Humphreys and William Wendell Humphreys.  He passed peacefully with his family by his side on November 23, 2025.

Steve leaves behind his wife Joan Hawke Humphreys of almost 63 years.  His daughter Ashley Humphreys, her spouse Paul, his son Joshua Humphreys, wife Brooke and grandson Zane Hawke Humphreys and brother William Wendell Humphreys Jr.

Steve proudly served in the United States Army, Old Guard, stationed at Fort Myers in Arlington, Va. and assigned to the White House and Camp David.  He served under President Dwight D. Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy.

Steve was very proud of his level of success during his 40-year career while employed by Du Pont de Nemours, Directional Industries and retired from Hancock & Moore after 30 years from any salesman’s dream job.

Steve will be missed by all who knew him.
