Adam Mason Pollin, of Ocean Pines, Maryland, was born on June 15, 1971, in Washington, D.C., and passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on August 28, 2026.

Adam is survived by his parents, Alan and Alice Sydney. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Shane Pollin (Amy), Jill Madone (Mike), Courtney Wade (Justin), Jake Minkoff (Alissa), and Sam Minkoff (Cassie); his nieces, Ella Pollin and Nora Minkoff; and his nephews, Logan Madone, Hunter Wade, and Thomas Wade.

Adam is also survived by his aunt and uncles, Judy and Jonathan Duffie, Richard Pollin, and Robert Loeb; his great-uncle and great-aunt, Morty and Cynthia Zetlin; and his cousins, Jacob Pollin, Matthew Pollin, Jeremy Duffie, Jon Duffie, Justin Duffie, Alex Loeb, Max Loeb, and Chris Loeb, as well as extended family and many dear friends.

Adam will also be deeply missed by his beloved pets, Dickey and Augie.

Adam graduated from Bradley University and went on to a career in property management. His love of music, particularly the Grateful Dead and Widespread Panic, and his passion for travel helped foster lifelong friendships and countless memories. Adam loved making Ocean Pines his home and could often be found taking a drive through the community or along Coastal Highway with his beloved dog, Dickey, by his side. He was also a connoisseur of Maryland crab cakes.

Adam’s funeral was held on Wednesday, September 2nd at B’nai Israel Congregation in Rockville, Maryland, followed by interment at King David Memorial Park in Falls Church, Virginia. Shiva was observed by the family following the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adam’s memory to the Worcester County Humane Society.
