(Oct. 8, 2026) Classic cars and hot rods will roll up to Berlin’s Main Street this weekend as vintage car enthusiasts show off their rides during the town’s fall cruising event.
Berlin’s Fall Cruisin’ will welcome owners and aficionados of vintage vehicles on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Berlin Chamber of Commerce has hosted the car show for at least 25 years, officials said, bringing together fans to check out these classic automobiles and enter contests and raffles.
The chamber said they can accommodate approximately 150 to 180 cars, depending on size of the vehicles. Sign-up begins at 7 a.m. on Saturday and will end when space is filled or at 10 a.m. The cost for owners to park their cars and participate in the auto exhibition is $15. Pre-registration is not available.
As part of the event, the cars will be judged and awarded based on their characteristics. Recognition categories include Best of Show, Most Unique, Judges’ Favorite, Survivor Original, Hot Rod, Resto Rod, and a Kids Award.
Volunteer judges with knowledge of old-school vehicles will evaluate and select a winner for each division, chamber officials noted.
The awards presentation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Additionally, the Berlin Chamber of Commerce is hosting a 50/50 raffle drawing that will kick off around the same time. Organizers maintain that the streets must be clear by 2 p.m.
Cars can enter the event from Route 50 at Ocean Gateway and turn into downtown Berlin on North Main Street.
The chamber said that the event’s premier sponsor is Bryant Sterling of IG Burton in Berlin.
Additionally, during Fall Cruisin’, Sun & Shade is hosting and sponsoring a specialty knife showcase where guests can view and purchase limited-edition W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. knives. The add-on event is scheduled for 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Sun & Shade.
The Berlin Chamber of Commerce encourages fans looking to attend the classic car show to arrive early, as spots are expected to fill up fast. To volunteer at the event or for more information, individuals can contact the chamber at info@berlinchamber.org.
“Bring your friends, family, and your best set of wheels for an unforgettable fall cruising event,” the chamber’s website reads. “Cruise along Main Street to see the beauty of these classic cars.”
