OCEAN PINES — Antonie Tassie, age 87, died Wednesday, June 15 at Catered Living of Ocean Pines. Born in Germany she was the daughter of the late Johann Tovornik and Justine Schumer Tovornik. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Tassie.

She is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Betty Campbell ,of Ocean Pines; brothers, Hans Tovornik and Siegfried Tovornik; a sister, Cilly Bruhl, all of Germany; nieces, nephews and a host of friends in Scotland, Canada and Rockville. 

A memorial service was held on Sunday, June 19 at the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin. Interment will be later in Arlington National Cemetery along side of her late husband. Donations may be made to Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
