OCEAN PINES — Jack K. Alexander 87, husband of Jo Alexander, passed away at his home in Ocean Pines on Thursday, June 30. 

Alexander served in the United Sates Navy, serving on the USS Intrepid. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Sons of Italy, Veterans of Foreign Wars, World War II Veterans, Democratic Club of Worcester County, Caring Clowns, Evergreen Masonic Lodge and previous Past Master of the Washington Masonic Chapter. Jack was a past member of the Ocean Pines Kiwanis Club and past president of the Telephone Pioneers. 

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Alexander, 10 children and 16 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Rita Elaine Alexander.

A celebration of life was held Wednesday, July 6, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
