The inaugural festivities at
Ocean
City’s

Roland
E.
Powell
Convention Center
will take place on Saturday, Nov. 27, from 6:30 p.m. till midnight at Puttin’ on the Ritz.

The event will be an elegantly fun evening to benefit the entire community with a portion of the proceeds devoted to the purchase of art works by the Art League of

Puttin’ on the Ritz was created to promote public appreciation of an interest in the visual arts through development of a permanent collection being displayed by the convention center. In addition, League member’s art works are now on display in the facility’s

Visitor
Center
through arrangements with the town and the ALOC.

Call Sharon Bradford at 410-289-2800 for additional information.

The evening will begin on the red carpet entering the convention center with the lobby decorated for the season with an elegant array as you proceed to the upper level for opportunity to bid on many exciting pieces of local art and area items in a silent auction and live auction items of well known artists Kevin Fitzgerald and Randy Hofman.

Other silent and live auction items will be available including a lady’s beaver vest and an elegant dinner prepared in your home by one of the area’s chefs. The opening reception will be from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. with an open bar featuring martinis, premium liquors, wine, beer and soft drinks throughout the evening.

The ballroom doors will open at 8 p.m. to begin the elegant gourmet dinner, followed by dancing to one of D.C.’s finest bands the Main Event. There may be special surprises as the evening gala continues overlooking the Bay.
