(March 31, 2016) Bishop’s Stock Fine Art, Craft & Wine will open the spring season with its annual exhibit of new work by Lynne Lockhart and Kirk McBride, two of the region’s most recognized artists.
Pieces in the show includes images from their travels as well as their daily routines. Lockhart’s paintings capture animals in their natural setting while McBride offers paintings from their travels.  Both artists exhibit great technical skills with brushwork, composition and use of light.
All of the work has been created in their Berlin studios although they are active plein air artists.
They will be participating for the 13th year in Paint Snow Hill, Thursday through Sunday, April 14-17 with McBride teaching a plein air workshop Wednesday, April 13.
Paintings in the show may be seen on www.facebook.com/BishopsStock. The show opens with a First Friday reception on April 1, from 5-8 p.m. It will run through May 4.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
