BERLIN–Berlin Little League has announced the ground breaking of its new concession stand and bathroom facility. Construction was set to begin Jan. 14, with the hope to have the building up and running by opening day, scheduled for Saturday, April 12.
The project has been funded through community support and a private grant awarded to the league. The new 1,800-square-foot facility features two 900-square-foot levels. The lower level includes a snack bar and much needed bathroom facilities. The second floor includes a meeting room for administrative purposes. The building will also feature a covered pavilion area with picnic tables.
