OCEAN PINES–County Commissioner Judy Boggs has announced that the date of her 36th and final Town Meeting prior to her retirement will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 10 a.m. at the Ocean Pines Library.
As in all her prior Town Meetings, Commissioner Boggs will discuss current county issues that impact on Ocean Pines and northern Worcester County. Topics to be discussed include current and future construction projects in the area, the progress of natural gas availability in the county, the latest news regarding the Ocean Downs Casino and Racetrack, and a comprehensive wrap-up of happenings of interest in our area this past summer and anticipated within the next few months.
There will be a presentation by guests Fawn and Ryan Mete, who conducted this summer’s internship program for Worcester County students who will be pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
