Lenore Patricia McQuiggan, of Ocean Pines, age 91, passed away on Sept. 21, 2026.

Born on March 30, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Eisele and Madeleine (Wilent) Eisele.

Lenore (Lee) resided in Ocean City, Maryland throughout most of her childhood, often taking trips to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she would eventually meet her husband, Jim, and raise their three beloved children, Michelle, Colleen, and James III.

A stay-at-home mom for most of their youth, Lee would then pursue a successful career in financial services at Manufacturers Hanover Mortgage Division until her retirement in 2000.

While raising her children, summer vacations were always spent in Ocean City, Maryland, where memories were made, joy was shared, and Lee’s passion for real estate was developed through her search for the perfect rental each season. In 2000, Lee and Jim returned to the area she loved, moving to Ocean Pines and acquiring a real estate license at the age of 65. She would then spend the next 15+ years enthusiastically helping locals and visitors alike find the perfect home for their time spent at the shore.

An incredibly intelligent and accomplished woman, Lee’s greatest joys in life came from her family; she cherished time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, continuously placing the needs and care of those she loved above the needs of her own. She is remembered by friends and family as the “kindest and most incredible person anyone could ever know.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James J. McQuiggan Jr., and her brothers Leonard Eisele and Wayne Hastings.

Lenore is survived by her three children – Michelle Convey (David), Colleen Lynch (Timothy), and James J. Mcquiggan; her sisters– Carolyn Muscianese, Linda Dominguez, and Sharon Bliss; as well as her six grandchildren (Jennifer, Allison, Kelli, Joey, Joshua, and Caitlin), thirteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lenore’s honor to the Covenant House (https://www.covenanthouse.org/). Letters of condolences may be sent to the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com. Arrangements are in the care of the Burbage Funeral Home– Berlin. A private viewing service was held.
