Mildred D. “Millie” Brown

SELBYVILLE, Del. — Mildred D. “Millie” Brown, 83, of
Selbyville, Del., and formerly of Camp Springs, Md., died Tuesday, Oct. 16,
2012 at home. Born in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Carl
F. and Lillian (Thompson) Young. 

Mrs. Brown had been a school bus driver for Prince Georges
County Board of Education for 28 years. She was a member of St. Matthews
By-The-Sea United Methodist Church in Fenwick Island, Women of the Keenwicks
and the She Shells Club in Ocean City.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, George V. Brown
of Selbyville; two daughters, Pamela S. Brown of Arlington, Va., and Patricia
“Trish” Brown (Joe) of Clinton, Md., as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Oct. 18, at Hastings Funeral
Home in Selbyville with the Rev. Jim Penuel officiating. Burial was in Cedar
Hill Cemetery in Suitland, Md. on Monday, Oct. 22.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners
Hospital for Children, 3551 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, Pa. 19140 or to St.
Matthews By-The-Sea United Methodist Church, 1000 Coastal Highway, Fenwick
Island, Del. 19944.
