(April 6, 2017) Back-to-back art and gardening events have been scheduled by the Lower Shore Land Trust for Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8.
From 5-8 p.m. Friday, area watercolor artist and retired biology professor, Ellen Lawler, will be on hand at the Lower Shore Land Trust with a sampling of her bird and wildlife paintings. The public is invited to drop in, grab a glass of wine, and talk with Lawler about her artwork during Snow Hill’s April First Friday.
On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, Barbara Ellis, author of “Chesapeake Gardening and Landscaping,” will offer tips on creating a bay-friendly garden through increasing the variety of plants.
