Heron Park, on 10009 Old Ocean City Boulevard, officially reopened for public use on May 6 by then-Berlin Mayor Gee Williams following an address from Gov. Larry Hogan that broadened permitted outdoor activities under the Stay at Home order. All personal safety and social distancing requirements remained in effect at the time. Pets with leashes were also allowed at Heron Park.
