BERLIN — Thomas Crosby Satterfield, age 81, died Saturday, July 9, at his home in Berlin. Born in Maryland he was the son of the late Thomas Crosby Satterfield, II and Veronica Kneavel Satterfield. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Satterfield.

Satterfield is survived by his daughters, Tracy L. Famolaro and her fiancé Joel Waln Trumper and Kathleen M. Satterfield; a sister, Ruth S. Fairbank; and his nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, July 13 at Evergreen Cemetery in Berlin. Arrangements are being handled by the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin
