(Oct. 6, 2016) The Worcester County Humane Society is currently selling raffle tickets for three cash prizes.
Drawing for the raffle will be held Nov. 12. Winner need not be present. Tickets cost $5 each or get five tickets for $20 with all proceeds benefiting the animals at the no-kill shelter.
The first-place prize is $3,000, second place is $1,500 and third place is $500.
Those interested in purchasing raffle tickets can stop by the shelter located at 12330 Eagles Nest Road, Berlin, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. The shelter is closed on Mondays.
Raffle tickets can also be purchased at the Worcester County Humane Society adoption and donation drop-off stand located at the front entrance of the Berlin Walmart on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
