Orphans’ Court judge retirement
Editor,
With my retirement just around the corner I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to the citizens of Worcester County for the trust and confidence they have placed in me over the past 20 years as a Judge of the Orphans’ Court.
Serving this community has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I have been privileged to work on behalf of so many families, and I am truly thankful for the support, respect, and encouragement I have received throughout my tenure. Worcester County is a special place because of its people, and it has been a privilege to serve you.
As we look ahead, my colleague Judge Cheryl Jacobs is the only incumbent and attorney currently running for the Orphans Court position, and with all the experience she brings to the court I sincerely hope the good citizens of Worcester County will bring her back for her third term as judge of the Orphans court.
I encourage all citizens to remain engaged in our community and to exercise one of our most important rights-voting. Your participation ensures that our local government continues to reflect the values and needs of the people it serves.
Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to serve you. It has been an honor I will always cherish.
